Kingsley Healthcare Group are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our King’s Court Care Home. You will ensure food preparation and catering comply with Health and Safety and Food Standards regulations, while helping keep the kitchen clean and organized.

You will work as part of a caring team, with the opportunity to learn and develop skills in a supportive environment. A positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• A good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
• A hardworking and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
• The ability to work efficiently under pressure and to deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Ensure all food preparation and catering is in accordance with Health and Safety and Food Standard regulations.
• Monitor and maintain kitchen cleaning schedules; keep all areas of the kitchen immaculately clean and wash crockery and utensils when required.
