Overview

Roche Health Care are looking to recruit a Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly team at Mansion House, Drax.

Salary: £12.21phr

Hours: 12hrs per week - 3 afternoon shifts per week

Experience in Kitchen or Catering is required and experience in Care would be an advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in organising and controlling the efficient and economic production of quality food within the allowed budget, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ensure basic food hygiene practices are followed.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Basic food hygiene certificate.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience in food preparation for relevant service user group required.
  • Experience in the kitchen or catering environment; experience in care would be an advantage.
  • Evidence of high level commitment to personal development, training and education.
  • To have a genuine interest in working within a caring environment, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and work as part of a team.
  • Be a kind and considerate person who is innovative and caring.
