Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our Universities operation on a 35-hour-per-week contract. You will be part of a team that takes pride in the food, the brand, and its people, with opportunities for progression within a company that invests in its staff.

Shifts are 5 out of 7 days, supporting high-quality food production while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards across campus kitchens. Competitive pay and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Maintaining a high standard of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ensuring safe and correct use of all kitchen machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with loading/unloading deliveries and supplies.
• Representing Universities and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
