Job summary

Blue Arrow in Cambridge is recruiting Kitchen Assistants to support a range of catering environments, from schools to hospitals and care homes. You will help with basic food prep and keep kitchens clean, while enjoying flexible shifts and weekly pay.

A positive attitude and reliability are valued, prior kitchen experience is helpful but not required, and a DBS check can be arranged if you don't have one. Join a friendly team and grow with flexible, ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• DBS check required or we can process this for you if you don't already have one.
• Reliability and good timekeeping.
• Previous kitchen or catering experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and work areas.
• Washing up and operating kitchen equipment safely.
• Supporting with stock rotation and deliveries.
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
