Adkins & Cheurfi Recruitment is seeking friendly, approachable Kitchen Assistants to join their teams across the North East. Ideal candidates have catering or hospitality experience and a valid driving licence. A DBS enhancement is preferred for work in Schools or Care Homes.

The role involves food prep, cooking assistance, serving meals, and maintaining a clean kitchen. Pay is weekly with uniform provided and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• At least 1 years experience working in a kitchen environment.
• Must have a valid driving license.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling ingredients.
• Assist in cooking and baking tasks, measuring cooking times.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment.
• Assist in serving meals to customers or staff members.
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment.
