Champneys is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team in the United Kingdom. This hands-on role supports chefs with food preparation, cleanliness, and efficient kitchen operations within our staff dining facilities.

Training is provided, and you will help deliver meals while maintaining high hygiene and safety standards. You will assist with stock, deliveries, and event support, communicating with colleagues to ensure smooth service and a positive guest and staff experience across

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience helpful but not essential

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation and presentation in staff dining facilities
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in kitchen areas
• Washing and preparing kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery and cutlery for service
• Supporting chefs and wider kitchen team with day-to-day operations
• Receiving, storing and rotating deliveries following food safety procedures
• Following cleaning schedules and maintaining accurate records
• Ensuring pantry, storage and prep areas are safe and compliant with hygiene standards
• Assisting with stock takes and inventory control
• Supporting kitchen during events and peak periods
• Communicating effectively with colleagues across the resort for seamless operations
