A local council in Scotland is seeking a part-time kitchen worker based at Turriff House. Responsibilities include preparing, cooking, and serving food, while maintaining high cleanliness standards in the kitchen. You will undertake, normally under the general direction of a higher-grade operative in a kitchen, the preparation, simple cooking and the serving of food.
You will have experience of working within a kitchen setting and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in food area. You will have good communication skills and time management, be innovative, have ability to work under pressure along with ability to work in a team or on own initiative. You will be available to work shift patterns and week-ends. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
