An educational institution in Norwich is seeking a dedicated individual to support lecturers by maintaining high cleanliness standards within workshops and kitchens. The role involves assisting students in cleaning procedures and ensuring a hygienic environment. Candidates should have good communication skills, be flexible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. The position offers 4 hours per week during term time, with a salary of £2,249 per annum.

You will support the lecturers in charge by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality of resources, through correct cleaning practises within the workshops and kitchens.
Whilst complying with the Health and Safety and Hygiene regulations, you will assist the students in enhancing their quality of environment by ensuring that the correct cleaning procedures are implemented for clearing down their area as well as assisting with the general washing up, cleaning and sharing the responsibility of all laundry.
You will work independently, using your initiative as part of a team, and therefore be flexible, adaptable, and proactive in supporting the needs of the area. You will have good communication skills, good understanding in meeting a range of students needs and the ability to work with a range of staff, in line with our College ‘Ways of working’
