Beaumont Care Homes in Belfast is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join the Kitchen Team on a 20-hour per week schedule. You will assist the Cook Manager to prepare nutritious meals and support a high standard dining experience for residents.

You will help with meal preparation, maintain hygiene, and stay flexible to meet dietary needs. This role rewards commitment with training, career development, and pension benefits.

• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices.

About the role

As a Kitchen Assistant you will:

• Help prepare all meals within the home, paying consideration to special dietary requirements

• Ensure the general cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen area, equipment and appliances

• Develop a positive relationship with all residents, staff and other visitors to the home

• Regularly seek feedback from residents and staff in order to continually improve the level of service offered

• Receive, check and safely store kitchen deliveries
