HC-One - Woodthorpe Lodge is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the Cook in planning and preparing meals that are appealing, nutritious and tailored to residents' preferences and dietary needs. You’ll help maintain a state-of-the-art kitchen and ensure mealtimes meet the high standards expected in our care home.

About the role

Our kitchen team at Woodthorpe Lodge is a huge part of care home life and the Kitchen Assistant helps the Cook to plan and prepare a variety of meals which are appealing, nutritious and centred around our residents' preferences, requests and dietary requirements. As well as helping to ensure the dining experience exceeds our residents' expectations at every mealtime, the Kitchen Assistant will also help keep our state of-the-art kitchen facilities up to our high standards
