Job summary

A leading workplace management company is seeking a Kitchen Assistant in St Helens. In this role, you will assist in food preparation and service, uphold hygiene standards, and deliver excellent customer service within a motivated team environment. Catering experience is preferred but a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction are essential. This is a permanent contract with a competitive hourly rate of £12.21.

As a Kitchen Assistant with ISS UK, you will be at the heart of the action and will play a key role in our catering operation, assisting with the preparation and service of food while keeping an excellent standard of cleanliness and safety.

The Role

• Work as part of a motivated and passionate team
• Deliver the highest standard of customer care
• Work to a high standard of general hygiene, maintaining the cleanliness of the site
• Uphold our Health & Safety values, always keeping a secure and safe environment
• Keep to deadlines, with prompt service of meals in line with our standards of accuracy
• Represent our catering & operations teams always thinking of Client satisfaction

About You

• Enthusiastic approach to work
• Catering experience is preferred - but a positive, can-do attitude is essential
• Good understanding of the principals of food hygiene
• You can follow instructions but are not scared to make your own decisions for what's best for the customer
• Making sure the customer come first, ensuring their experience is an exceptional one one
• A determined team player who works well with others
