Job description

The Kitchen Assistant will provide essential support within the Adult Social Care (ASC) setting at the New Directions - North Hub location for Sefton MBC. This role is to cover long‑term sickness and is classified as an Agency Worker, Level 1.

Responsibilities include assisting the catering team with food preparation, basic cooking tasks, serving meals to residents/clients, washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment and surfaces, and maintaining a hygienic and safe working environment in compliance with food safety regulations. Experience in a catering or hospitality environment is preferred. The position has a start and end date of 12/09/2025 and falls Inside IR35.
