Job summary

Caring Homes Group Ltd in Ringmer is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to help maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and support the culinary team. Training is provided and a strong emphasis is placed on hygiene and resident safety.

The role offers full-time hours (40 per week) with shifts including alternate weekends, and a supportive, family-like environment designed to balance work and life. Join our team and help create a welcoming home for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or catering is a plus, but training is provided.
• Commitment to high cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen clean, tidy, and well-organised.
• Uphold hygiene and safety standards.
• Support chef with cooking and baking tasks as needed.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Sweep and mop floors; take out rubbish regularly.
