Job summary

Great Western, Newquay invites applications for a Kitchen Assistant to join a friendly team at our clifftop pub in Newquay. You’ll help with food preparation, operate the dishwasher, and keep the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.

No previous experience is required; this is a great entry point into a commercial kitchen with in-house training and opportunities to progress.

Qualifications

• No prior kitchen experience required; suitable for beginners.
• Willingness to learn basic food safety and kitchen hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and plating as directed.
• Operate the dishwasher and manage wash-up duties.
• Keep the kitchen clean, tidy and safe at all times.
