What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the chefs in the planning and provision of high‑quality meals that meet the nutritional and dietary requirements of our residents
• Plan, prepare and serve balanced meals that meet dietary requirements
• Ensure all food prepared meets Food Hygiene Standards and that safe methods of work are always used
• Manage all stocks and stores, ensuring all food is correctly marked and stock rotation systems are in place
• Maintain accurate records to satisfy food hygiene requirements such as fridge temperature checks

About You

• Proven experience working in a similar catering role, ideally in a care or similar environment
• Committed to customer care and first‑class service provision
• Knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations
• Empathy and a desire to make a difference to the lives of our residents
• Ability to multi‑task, work under pressure and on own initiative in a fast‑paced environment
• To share our values and demonstrate them at all times – a “Can‑Do” flexible team worker, problem fixer, passionate about what they do, able to manage a diverse and demanding workload, think outside the box and open to doing things differently
