Becky at JT Recruit would like to discuss these exciting opportunities to join a friendly team for a local authority in the Nottingham area, who are committed and passionate about making a difference to the lives of those who live and work in the city.

We are looking for motivated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join the team and support the smooth running of the school’s kitchen and dining services.

The role covers multiple school locations throughout the borough and will require an Enhanced DBS check due to the nature of the location in which you will be working in.

What You’ll Do:
Assist in the preparation of meals – from salads to snacks and sauces.
Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and safe.

Supporting with washing up – Wiping down of tables/work surfaces
Help set up the dining room and serve customers with a smile!
Handle cash with care when needed.
Keep up with food hygiene regulations and health & safety standards.

A qualification in Food Hygiene
A team player who can work independently when needed.
A commitment to excellent customer care and good hygiene.
Someone with a flexible attitude and readiness to learn.
Strong communication skills – you’ll be working with staff and customers alike.
