Overview

Cooking experience will be an advantage or candidate must be willing to learn how to cook.

Responsibilities

• To cook breakfast items as required by the residents.
• To ensure that the dining area is clean at all times.
• To assist the chef in serving up meals.
• To prep vegetables as required.
• To ensure that all kitchen equipment and kitchen areas are cleaned according to cleaning schedules.
• To ensure that company Health & Safety Regulations are adhered to.
• To ensure correct storage of all dry and perishable goods.
• To ensure the correct, safe storage of cleaning materials.
• To ensure that all pots, pans, cooking utensils are cleaned to the required standards and correctly stored after cleaning.
• Carry out any other reasonable instructions given by The Chef/Home Manager
• You will also be required to stand in for the Head Cook / Part Time Cook when they are on leave
