Job Description

We are seeking reliable Kitchen Assistants for an immediate start. Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but a willingness to learn and work well within a team is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist kitchen staff with daily food preparation tasks as directed
  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces and equipment to maintain hygiene standards
  • Wash and dry plates, cutlery, glasses, and other utensils efficiently
  • Help with unpacking and storing deliveries, ensuring food storage areas are organised and compliant with safety standards
  • Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the kitchen and dining areas
  • Always follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Dispose of waste and recycling correctly, keeping the kitchen tidy and clutter-free
  • Assist with basic food preparation such as peeling, chopping, and assembling ingredients as required
  • Report any equipment faults or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly
  • Work cooperatively with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations
