Overview

Location: Ty Cwm Gwendraeth, Llannon Road, Upper Tumble, Llanelli SA14 6BU

Hours: 38 per week, including weekends on a rota basis

Pay rate: £12.21 per hour

Responsibilities
  • As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the Head Chef with the daily aspects of the catering operation.
  • You will assist with everything from preparing simple meals, to ensuring the dining areas are clean and tidy at all times.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or evidence of Food Hygiene awareness is essential for this role, along with knowledge of maintaining a clean, tidy, safe and hygienic environment.
  • An NVQ level 2 is desirable for this role.

  • At least six months experience working in a kitchen setting.
  • Candidates must be reliable and professional and be able to demonstrate patience, kindness, compassion and have a true desire to learn and develop.
  • The ability to work independently but also as part of a team is essential along with a positive, friendly and flexible approach to working.
