Compass Group UK&I, operating Chartwells, is looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant on a zero-hours basis in Leeds. You will help run the kitchen, maintain high hygiene, and support delivery and loading tasks as needed.

You will work as part of a team, focusing on food quality, safety, and customer service. The role requires flexibility with shifts and a commitment to reliable, timely work within a busy educational setting.

  • Represent Compass Group UK&I and uphold the brand image.
  • Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.

Job description

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Kitchen Assistant (Zero Hours) to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Chartwells on a permanent casual basis, contracted to 0 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
  • Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment
  • Assisting with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles
  • Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
  • Complying with Health & Safety regulations
