Hungry Horse is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to keep the kitchen stocked, clean, and ready for service. You’ll support the team by ensuring supplies are ready and helping maintain hygiene standards in a fast-paced pub environment.

The role offers opportunities to learn and develop practical kitchen skills, with a strong emphasis on safety and allergen awareness while working closely with a friendly team.

Job Description

As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll play a key part in the kitchen ensuring a busy service runs smoothly. You’ll make sure everything is well stocked, clean, and the team around you have everything they need to create the perfect dish for our customers.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will…

• Help the kitchen service run smoothly by making sure it is well stocked and clean.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
• Communicate clearly with your team, ensuring they have everything they need.
