Job summary

JW Lees is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to join our fabulous team in Lancashire. You will help keep the kitchen running smoothly and support the chefs with basic prep and dishwashing.

You’ll work in a well-equipped kitchen, enjoy staff discounts on food and drink, and benefit from wellbeing support and career development opportunities as part of our long-standing, family-owned pub group.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen running efficiently and spotlessly clean during and after service.
• Clean utensils and dishes and assist with general kitchen duties; may help with basic food preparation.

• Keen to learn new skills and progress in the role.

What a Kitchen Assistant does at JW Lees:

• You’ll play a main part in keeping the kitchen running efficiently and spotlessly clean during and after service


• You'll be responsible for cleaning utensils and dishes along with general kitchen duties and on occasion basic food and ingredients preparation


• Be conscious of Health & Safety in the Kitchen, working with the team to achieve and maintain 5* Scores on the doors


• Be keen to learn new skills and progress
