This is a great opportunity for a passionate and fast-learning individual to join the kitchen team at Chestnut View Care Home in Haslemere, Surrey. The home is a 60-bedded residential, nursing, and dementia care facility, rated 9.5 on Carehome.co.uk. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the kitchen operations and contributing to the high-quality dining experience for the residents.

Main duties of the job

The Kitchen Assistant role involves supporting the kitchen team in various tasks, such as food preparation, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and assisting with the overall kitchen operations. This is a full-time position, requiring 44 hours per week, including alternate weekends. The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of £12.35 and be eligible for various benefits, including a Blue Light Discount Card, holiday and days out discounts, long service awards, and a recognition program.
