Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is hiring a Kitchen Assistant on a zero-hours, permanent casual basis. You will be central to our operation, preparing high-quality food, keeping the kitchen clean, and ensuring safety, with a focus on delivering great service across our many venues in the UK.

This role requires teamwork, adaptability, and reliability, with flexibility to work shifts and load/unload deliveries as needed, all while upholding Compass Group’s brand and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Able to work flexible shifts and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles.

• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
