Job summary

GAUCHO Covent Garden is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team, maintain high cleanliness standards and learn under senior chefs in a bustling restaurant environment.

Bring enthusiasm for fresh produce, a friendly, team-focused attitude, and reliable work ethic to daily prep, wash duties and safety standards. Training opportunities and staff meals are provided in a supportive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient time and motion at all times.
• Basic chemical knowledge.
• Understanding of a plate and pot wash service area.
• Understanding of assigned task standards.
• To ensure the plate and pot wash areas are functioned to high standards as required at all times.
• To maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and upkeep of equipment.
• To ensure daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules and duties are carried out as instructed by senior chefs.
• Contribute to building a strong team spirit and employee welfare.

Key Responsibilities Of The GAUCHO Kitchen Assistant
