Job summary

Caring Homes Group Ltd is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our caring teams across our homes. You will help keep the kitchen clean, assist with basic cooking tasks when needed, and ensure all dishes and equipment are properly washed and stored.

The role emphasizes a supportive, team-based environment with training and opportunities for progression, while offering a balanced work-life schedule and a focus on resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or catering role is a plus, but not essential.
• Full training will be provided.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Flexible scheduling to support team needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the kitchen is clean, tidy, and well-organised.
• Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
• Support the chef in cooking and baking tasks when required.
• Wash all the dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Sweep and mop floors and take out the rubbish regularly.
