Role Overview

Wrotham Road Primary School is looking for a hardworking, flexible member of staff to join the Catering Team as a Catering Assistant. The post is 12.5 hours per week from 11.15am to 1.45pm, Monday to Friday, for 38 weeks per year. The full‑time equivalent salary is £24,513, with a pro‑rated salary of £7,033.77 per year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide extra support in the kitchen, covering absence and assisting the Chef Manager.
  • Perform basic food preparation and serve pupils and staff.
  • Wash up, keep the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.
  • Attend and complete training (paid by the school) and wear provided uniform.
