Job Title: Kitchen Assistant
Location: WQE – University Road, Leicester, LE1 7RJ
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only
Working Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 2:00pm
Working Weeks: 36 working weeks per year (plus 4.328 weeks paid holiday)
Salary: £12.21 per hour / £9,848.10 per annum
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our catering team at WQE in Leicester. This is a part-time, term-time only role ideal for someone seeking regular weekday hours with no weekend work. You’ll be an important part of our daily food service, helping prepare fresh food, assisting with front-of-house tasks, and ensuring all areas are kept clean and welcoming. Full training will be provided, and we support all staff in becoming multi-skilled and confident in all areas of service.
WQE is a vibrant and busy sixth form college located in central Leicester, serving a large student population. You'll be part of a friendly and professional catering team dedicated to providing high-quality food and service in a welcoming environment.
