Kitchen Assistant - SEN School 12- 13 per hour ASAP Start

Are you a reliable and capable kitchen assistant looking to make a real difference in a school setting?

We're recruiting on behalf of a supportive SEN school for a Kitchen Assistant to join their team ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a meaningful role, supporting young people in a nurturing educational environment.

Hours: 9:30am - 1:30pm, Monday to Friday

Pay: 12 - 13 per hour (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily kitchen operations and food preparation
  • Follow health & safety and hygiene standards
  • Serve meals to children and staff with a friendly, approachable manner
  • Take instruction from the kitchen lead while also showing initiative
  • Engage positively with students
About You
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is essential
  • Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Calm, personable, and confident when interacting with children
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Understanding or experience of working with young people with additional needs is a plus - but not essential
