Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for one of its Barnet Grange Care Home facilities. The role supports the catering team with food preparation and maintaining a hygienic kitchen to safely provide meals and drinks for residents.

Ideal candidates will hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and have sound health and safety knowledge. A DBS check and proof of right to work in the UK are required.

Responsabilidades

• Support the catering function in food preparation
• Maintain a clean kitchen environment for the safe production of meals and beverages
• Deliver a high quality, comprehensive service to residents
• Apply safe food handling principles to meet high hygiene standards
• Contribute to team working and carry out reasonable work instructions promptly
• Advise on the supply and quality of items used, including timely ordering of replacement goods
• Treat residents and visitors with respect for their dignity and individuality

The role supports the catering team with food preparation and keeping the kitchen clean so that meals and drinks are produced safely for residents.
