Overview

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in the heart of our kitchen. Your primary duties include packing orders and communicating them clearly to the chefs. You must efficiently handle 5 to 8 orders simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and clarity in English. This position requires exceptional multitasking abilities, as you will manage reading orders and calling them out to the chefs to cook, package orders, and read customer notes concurrently so each dish is made correctly.

Responsibilities

• Pack orders and communicate them clearly to the chefs.
• Efficiently handle 5 to 8 orders simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and clarity in English.
• Read orders and call them out to the chefs to cook; package orders; read customer notes to ensure correct dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock levels in the kitchen.
• Manage the fryer section and assist with preparation of starters and mains for completion by the head chefs.
• Assist with other kitchen duties when not packing, including cutting vegetables and meat.
• Support the team during busy periods in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Required, with previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Languages: English – Advanced.
• Employment: Full-time.
• Schedule: 2 PM – 11 PM, 6 days per week; full availability for this schedule is essential.
• Starting time: Immediate start.

Interview / Trial

The interview process includes a 6-hour physical trial shift in the kitchen, during which full training will be provided, provided you have prior kitchen experience.
