Farmhouse Inns in Burnley is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help run a busy kitchen, keep it stocked and clean, and support the team in delivering high-quality meals.

You will maintain hygiene, follow safety regulations, and communicate clearly with colleagues. Basic English is required; enthusiasm to learn and progress in a fast-paced environment is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with food preparation in a busy kitchen or similar environment.
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene regulations and safe food handling.
• Clear communication with team and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen well stocked and organized for service.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in line with regulations.
• Support chefs and front-of-house by ensuring team has what they need to serve customers.

Job Description

As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll play a key part in the kitchen ensuring a busy service runs smoothly. You’ll make sure everything is well stocked, clean, and the team around you have everything they need to create the perfect dish for our customers.

Qualifications

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will…

• Help the kitchen service run smoothly by making sure it is well stocked and clean.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
• Communicate clearly with your team, ensuring they have everything they need.

• A passion for challenges and thriving in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Willingness to learn and expand your skills in the kitchen.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
