To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene. You should also have knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments. Additionally, you should be an efficient worker, capable of a high level of sustained physical effort and able to respond to a demanding workload, with a caring and understanding attitude towards the residents.
