About You

You will be positive, enthusiastic, and professional, willing to go above and beyond to ensure our residents receive high‑quality service. We need someone who is self‑motivated and has excellent communication skills.

Desired but not Essential
  • Food and hygiene certificate
  • Previous experience in a similar role – training will be provided
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation and serving of hot and cold meals.
  • Assist the head cook to ensure that food is prepared in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
  • Help keep the kitchen area and equipment clean and to the standard for food hygiene.
  • Under the guidance of the head cook, maintain accurate records of food supplies and freezer/fridge temperatures.
  • Be aware of varied preferences and dietary requirements of individual residents.

Successful applicants will require two written references, a standard/enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) depending on role, and evidence of a right to work in the UK.
