The Borough Arms in Bodmin is a charming traditional pub along the Camel Trail, dating back to the 1850s. We’re looking for a kitchen assistant to help with food preparation, run the dishwasher and keep the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.

This role is ideal for someone starting in a commercial kitchen and eager to learn. We offer in-house training, meal provided for shifts over 6 hours and flexible working to fit family life.

Job description

The Borough Arms is a charming traditional pub that’s steeped in history and blessed with spectacular surroundings.
Nestled along the famous Camel Trail, the building dates back to the 1850s when its original purpose was to service trains taking china clay from the moor down to the port at Padstow.

Join us as a kitchen assistant and be part of a talented team, assisting with food preparation, operating the dishwasher, and keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and safe. This could be a great role for someone looking to start in a commercial kitchen.
