Job summary

Flaming Grill is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support a busy kitchen, ensuring orders are prepared to spec and on time. You will work alongside the Kitchen Manager and Team Leaders to keep a clean, well-stocked area and maintain high hygiene standards.

Ideal candidates are eager to learn, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and communicate clearly with the team to ensure everyone has what they need for smooth service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running a busy service on the kitchen line.

• Support colleagues to create consistent dishes for customers.

Job Description

As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll play a key part in the kitchen ensuring a busy service runs smoothly. You'll work on the line cooking food and turning it into the perfect dish, using our spec guides and instructions from you Kitchen Manager and Team Leaders. You’ll make sure everything is well stocked, clean, and the team around you have everything they need to create the perfect dish for our customers.

Qualifications

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will…

• Cook food to the correct specification, using a variety of equipment.
• Help the kitchen service run smoothly by making sure it is well stocked and clean.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
• Communicate clearly with your team, ensuring they have everything they need.

What you’ll bring to the kitchen:

• A passion for challenges and thriving in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Willingness to learn and expand your skills in the kitchen.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
