Job summary

Adkins & Cheurfi Recruitment is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support food preparation and service across the North East. You will assist in chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, cooking tasks, cleaning and maintaining a sanitary kitchen environment, and helping serve meals.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a kitchen, hold a valid driving license, good communication, teamwork, and basic food safety knowledge. Enhanced DBS checks for schools or care homes are advantageous.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of kitchen experience.
• Must have a valid driving license.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables and sauces.
