Job summary

Tottenham Hotspur Women Football Club is seeking a Kit & Equipment Assistant to manage training and match kit, stock control, and distribution across the women's team. The role requires flexibility to fit training schedules and matches, including travel as needed.

You'll ensure kit rooms are organized, laundries are handled, and equipment is maintained to a high standard, while supporting coaching staff and safeguarding policies.

Responsibilities

• Order and distribute kit stock to players and staff.

• Attend home/away matches and support coaching staff.

Job Purpose

The Club is seeking a Kit & Equipment Assistant for its women's team. The position will involve working irregular hours to meet the needs of the training schedule and fixture programme, so a flexible candidate is sought.

Key Responsibilities

• Shared responsibility for ordering 1st team stock through GOK
• Efficient distribution of kit to players and staff
• Manage all player and staff training and match kits including updates to kit sizes and requirements
• Printing players and staff match and training kit where required
• Regular checks on stock report to ensure we are managing correctly
• Transport kit and equipment from the warehouse if required
• Ensure kit room, boot room and equipment cupboard are always organized
• Liaise with football administration regarding kit colours, along with any other admin related issues
• Ensure women's players match kit is available for all home and away games and is prepared to a high standard
• Attend all home and away matches and work around team schedule as required
• Return training/match kit to the Training Centre for laundry, checking for any issues with kit such as ripped or damaged items that may need repairing or replacing
• Transport playing kit to home and away games and prepare changing rooms, presenting the kit in an appropriate manner
• Support coaching staff with specified outfield training sessions, ensuring equipment and footballs are ready
• Hold responsibility for managing First Team equipment and work with the Operations team on ordering any additional or replacement equipment
• Complete sweeps of Training Centre for missing kit, footballs, equipment
• Dressing rooms are kept to a high standard, checking for damage
• Drive kit van as required and in line with Club Vehicle Policy (must hold relevant licence for required vehicle)
• Preparing check lists for matches, tours, kit sizes, all staff that prepare kit to work of these, logging and updating on system where required
• Regular stock control and keeping accurate records relating to all player and staff kit, letters, and equipment
• All equipment is kept clean, tidy, and organised
• Show proactiveness in relation to staff and player kit needs
• Adhere to a strict code of confidentiality in respect of any information relating to Tottenham Hotspur Women Football Club and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and its operations

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within a kit or laundry department, operating in a similar role
• Previous experience of working in a team
• Good understanding manual handling and COSH
• Technical understand of washing machines and other laundering equipment
• Full UK driving license is essential due to the scope of the role
• Any training of certification within First Aid, Health & Safety knowledge, Manual Handling, Fire Marshall would be highlight advantageous
• Fluent in another language (Desirable)
