This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis.

The Team Leader is responsible for the successful planning, delivery, and evaluation of The King's Trust Team Programme, supporting three cohorts of young people per year through a structured 12-week personal development programme. The role involves recruitment, programme design, delivery, pastoral care, and partnership working to ensure young people build confidence, motivation, and skills to progress into employment, education, training, volunteering, or apprenticeships.

Key Responsibilities Summary

  • Recruitment & Partnership Engagement
  • Attract and recruit a diverse group of young people (16-25) through outreach, marketing, and collaboration with referral partners, employers, and community organisations.
  • Programme Planning, Delivery & Learner Support
  • Plan and deliver the full 12-week King's Trust Programme (including induction, residential, community projects, and qualifications).
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance, and reviews to help learners achieve outcomes and progress into employment, education, or training.
  • Quality, Compliance & Administration
  • Maintain accurate records, ensure safeguarding and health & safety compliance, manage budgets, and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Confidence working with systems and processes, including experience in Microsoft Office and Teams
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Experience in a similar administrative/customer service/support-based role is desirable
