Job summary

David Lloyd Leisure in Chorley is hiring a DL Kids Coach to run games, sports and art sessions for children aged 3–12, mainly after school, on weekends and during holidays. You must be 17+ with a childcare/teaching/coaching qualification in progress, prior experience and a passion for engaging youngsters.

The role pays £13 per hour with hours starting at 8+ per week, plus perks such as free family club memberships, food and drink discounts, and access to our benefits suite.

Qualifications

• Must be 17 or over and working towards a childcare/teaching/coaching qualification.
• Previous experience in a similar environment.
• Genuine passion for engaging children.

Responsibilities

• Host games, sporting activities and art sessions for children aged 3–12.
• Lead after-school, weekend and holiday club activities.
• Create an inclusive, fun environment and encourage active participation.

As a qualified DL Kids Coach you will host a variety of games, sporting activities and art session with our members aged between 3 and 12, both after school and at weekends. Our holiday club programmes run during school holidays and are a fantastic sport camps for our younger members to have fun and explore their physical sides.

Hours will vary but will be upwards of 8 hours per week as a minimum.
