Job summary

Tails.com in the United Kingdom is seeking an Innovation Manager (12 month FTC) to lead innovation and renovation across our tailored dry kibble range. You’ll take ideas from first brief through to launch, collaborating with Nutrition, Brand, Operations and manufacturing partners to deliver products that improve dogs’ lives.

This role offers real responsibility, cross‑functional collaboration and the opportunity to turn customer insights into products people and their dogs love.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering innovation or renovation within FMCG, food or consumer products.
• Genuine curiosity about customers, turning insight into products people value.
• Strong commercial judgement balancing customer benefit with business performance.
• Appreciation for brands and the role products play in building loyalty.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines with technical and commercial teams.
• Ability to bring clarity to complex projects and maintain momentum.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end innovation and renovation across our personalised kibble portfolio.
• Build robust project plans, coordinate cross‑functional teams and guide projects through Stage Gate.
• Take ownership of delivery, balancing customer benefit, feasibility and priorities.
• Develop briefs from insights and ensure clear customer benefits with measurable success.
