Job description

We are seeking a Key Stage Two teacher to begin work at a school in Hitchin from January 2025. The school is in need of some cover for the school’s deputy head, who is currently in class three days per week. They are looking to reduce this to either one day per week, or ideally none, allowing the deputy to take on other aspects that the school requires.

Days can be flexible for an Outstanding candidate, but they should know that they will be worked had at the school. They have recently been visited by Ofsted and are in need of improving their standards as a whole. They ideally, would like to appoint somebody who has experience in doing this, but they will, ultimately, take on the candidate who best fits the school at interview stage.
