Job summary

Morrisons in Northampton is seeking a Warehouse & FLT Key Operative to support a busy site with inbound goods, stock replenishment, and despatch preparation. You will work as part of a team, following food safety, health & safety policies, and site procedures.

This role involves varied warehouse duties, including forklift operation, with the potential for weekend shifts and a requirement for reliable transport due to site location.

Qualifications

• Team collaboration and can work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical fitness for active warehouse tasks.
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures, dusty/noisy environments.
• Pride in completing tasks accurately and safely.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming goods, stock picking, replenishment and put-away.
• Operate forklift truck and load stock for despatch.
• Maintain safe working practices and follow health and safety policies.

More About The Role

As a Warehouse & FLT Key Operative you'll be absolutely critical to the operation! You'll be supported and trained up to do a variety of warehouse tasks, such as bringing products in, picking stock, replenishing and putting away goods, driving a forklift truck and loading stock for despatch.

As a Warehouse & FLT Key Operative you'll be absolutely critical to the operation! You'll be supported and trained up to do a variety of warehouse tasks, such as bringing products in, picking stock, replenishing and putting away goods, driving a forklift truck and loading stock for despatch.

You'll work safely and carefully, with food and health and safety policies in mind every day, so that our products are looked after and arrive in the best condition at the store ready for our customers.

Please note that:

• All rotas include an element of weekend working
• Having your own transport would be advantageous due to shift times and location of site

You’ll be the kind of person who:

• Loves working as part of a team and enjoys working in a fast paced environment
• Is happy in an active role and has a good level of fitness
• Is able to work in an environment with varying temperatures, and which may be noisy or dusty
• Takes pride in completing tasks to the best of your ability
• Has previous experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and understands relevant processes, systems and equipment (desirable)
