A local village school in Whitby is seeking a dynamic teacher for mixed-age classes of children from Years 3 to 6. The role involves a commitment to fostering teamwork and making a positive difference in children's lives. You will have access to support from teaching assistants and a leadership team that values your ideas. Ideal candidates will have experience in KS2 and a passion for primary education.

As a small village school, we have two mixed-age classes. You will be joining Heather Class, which consists of children from Years 3 to 6.
The diverse age range encourages children to support each other by being kind and respectful: adopting family values into their school life along the way. Children understand the importance of working well as a team and always strive to achieve their best.
You will be supported by a teaching assistant, and you will receive support from our Executive Headteacher and our Teacher in Charge.
