Job summary

The Education Network is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a specialist setting in Birmingham. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Primary curriculum while adapting to individual learning needs and working with Teaching Assistants to support pupils’ development.

In this role you will foster a positive classroom environment, manage behaviour effectively and contribute to the wider wellbeing and development of pupils in a smaller, personalised setting.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status or recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the Primary curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
  • A patient, resilient and consistent approach.

Responsibilities

  • Teach a Key Stage 2 class within a specialist setting.

Key Stage 2 Teacher – Specialist Setting

This specialist school in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher to join its teaching team, working with pupils who require additional support with their learning and development. This is an excellent opportunity for a Primary-trained teacher who enjoys working in a smaller, more personalised setting and is confident adapting the curriculum to meet individual needs.

The successful Key Stage 2 Teacher will create a structured, engaging classroom environment where pupils can develop academically, socially and emotionally. Strong classroom management, patience and the ability to build positive relationships are essential.

You will work closely with Teaching Assistants and specialist colleagues, ensuring pupils receive consistent support throughout the school day.

Job Role:
  • Teach a Key Stage 2 class within a specialist setting

Essential Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status or recognised teaching qualification

  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet individual needs
  • A patient, resilient and consistent approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
