Job description

Location: West Bromwich, West Midlands

Pay: (Apply online only) Per day (Dependant on experience and qualifications) then you'll fall into AWR based on exceeding a 12 week placement.

Role: KS2 Primary School Teacher

Start Date: As soon as possible.

ABC teachers are currently on the search for a qualified Primary school teacher within the West Bromwich area, to cover both lower and upper KS2 classes. This specific role would be temporary working on a day-to-day / part-time basis, with the potential to become full-time long‑term or even permanent.

The role:
  • Successful candidate will need to have good curriculum knowledge to be able to conduct lessons in a Key Stage 2 setting.
  • Working closely with class teaching assistants to be able to de‑escalate stressful situations.
  • Able to successfully build rapport with students and teachers alike.
  • Adapting to different classroom settings.
  • Have a purpose to inspire children allowing them to achieve excellence and be their best.
You must:
  • Hold valid teaching experience and Qualifications (QTS)
  • Hold strong Curriculum knowledge.
  • Be able to provide 2 solid references covering years experience.
  • Be able to control a classroom environment efficiently while delivering high quality lessons.
  • Have a passion for teaching and learning while being able to bring a positive and creative approach to the classroom.
  • Hold a DBS registered on the update service or must be able to arrange one.
  • Have previous experience working within education or a similar environment.
