Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Manufacturing Key Operative for New Product Development (NPD) to support the end-to-end process from concept to launch. You will help with food preparation, sample creation for presentations, and the organisation of the NPD kitchen.

Role involves stock rotation, cleaning, and supporting factory trials, with potential store visits for training and development. Candidates should be flexible, team-focused, and organised.

Qualifications

• Experience with New Product Development (NPD) preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety and food safety standards.

More About The Role

At Morrisons we're proud to produce a wide range of high quality products. As a Manufacturing Key Operative - New Product Development (NPD) you'll have the opportunity to assist in the NPD process from concept to launch, and your ideas and input will support us to launch completed ranges.

Your role will involve food preparation, including samples for internal and customer presentations, planning trials and making products from briefs. You'll help to organise and maintain the NPD kitchen, including stock rotation and cleaning and housekeeping. As well as this, you'll collect samples from the factory, support with factory trials and will visit other stores for training and development.

• Is able to comply with relevant business and site policies, such as health and safety and food safety standards
• Is flexible, adaptable and enjoys teamwork
• Can work to deadlines and be organised, with the ability to multitask
• Ideally has some experience of New Product Development (NPD) and experience with food and cooking
• Is able to work in a fast paced food manufacturing environment producing quality, food safe products for customers
