Job summary

Myton Food Group, part of Morrisons, is hiring a Manufacturing Key Operative - Hygiene to join the Production team. You will deep clean machines, dismantle and rebuild across multiple lines, and set up and calibrate systems to keep manufacturing on track.

You'll follow good manufacturing practices, manage chemicals per COSHH training, and help ensure machines are production-ready. The role offers strong benefits and career progression in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Job description

As Manufacturing Key Operative - Hygiene at one of our manufacturing sites, you’ll work within our Production team to deep clean the machines, allowing us to produce quality products in a safe, efficient and hygienic environment.

You’ll use trained skills to physically dismantle, clean and re-build machines on multiple production lines, as well as conducting system set up and calibrations. You’ll follow good manufacturing practices and will help to make sure that machines are production ready, as well as managing chemicals in accordance with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) training.

About you

You’ll be the kind of person who:

• Enjoys working in a fast paced environment and within a team

• Is open to working in a production environment with varying temperatures of approximately 8 degrees and below

• Is able to follow relevant business and site policies such as Health and Safety and Food Safety standards

• Is flexible, adaptable and able to work under pressure

• Has Food Safety Level 2 (not essential)
