Job summary

Morrisons is hiring a Manufacturing Key Operative - Hygiene to work within our production team. You will deep clean, dismantle, clean and re-build machines across multiple lines to ensure production readiness and safety.

Role involves following GMP, handling chemicals per COSHH training and maintaining a hygienic production area on site. A flexible, team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production/manufacturing setting preferred.
• Ability to follow Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.
• Willingness to operate in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deep clean machines and equipment on multiple lines.
• Dismantle, clean and re-build machinery as required.
• Set up machines and perform calibrations for production readiness.
• Manage chemicals in line with COSHH and site policies.

More About The Role

As Manufacturing Key Operative - Hygiene at one of our manufacturing sites, you'll work within our Production team to deep clean the machines, allowing us to produce quality products in a safe, efficient and hygienic environment. You'll use trained skills to physically dismantle, clean and re-build machines on multiple production lines, as well as conducting system set up and calibrations. You'll follow good manufacturing practices and will help to make sure that machines are production ready, as well as managing chemicals in accordance with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) training.

• Is open to working in a production environment with varying temperatures of approximately 8 degrees and below
• Is able to follow relevant business and site policies such as Health and Safety and Food Safety standards
• Is flexible, adaptable and able to work under pressure
• Has Food Safety Level 2 (not essential)
