A prestigious engineering recruitment firm is seeking a Key Account Manager to sell premium industrial lubricants to major steel manufacturers in the UK. This field-based role focuses on developing new sales and retaining existing accounts. Candidates should have a proven sales track record and strong technical knowledge of steel manufacturing processes. Outstanding opportunity for a Key Account Manager within our industrial division selling high value specialist lubricants to major steel manufacturing businesses such as British Steel, Sheffield Forgemasters and Tata. Your primary goal is to identify, develop and deliver profitable new sales and the retention of existing business within these accounts.
This is a field-based position where you will be conducting face to face meetings across a variety of different decision‑making levels from procurement, through to engineering teams. There’s a portfolio of c. 12 accounts across the UK, with the concentration being around Yorkshire and northeast England.
